About Lyndon Hughes
Over twenty years as an actress in theatre and television taught me that it is impossible to reach and connect with your audience unless you have energy and a real desire to communicate. Today, my greatest passion is teaching and sharing the essential skills of performance to successful business people...
I’ve acted in over 1,300 performances throughout Britain, Europe and Africa; playing leading roles in plays such as Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, Vanburgh’s The Provoked Wife, numerous Ayckbourn productions, as well as plays by Oscar Wilde, TS Eliot, JB Priestly, Somerset Maugham, Arnold Wesker, David Storey…
My first job after leaving drama school, was appearing in the BBC costume drama A Picture of Katherine Mansfield with Vanessa Redgrave. Since then I have appeared in many TV sitcoms, drama serials and one-off plays. I have also been the face of several popular brand name commercials in both the UK and Europe.
I’ve always had a passion for teaching and coaching having gained a specialist teaching diploma in speech and drama and having taught at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), before finally setting up my own successful coaching practice.
For almost ten years I’ve specialised in coaching business people here in the UK, in Europe and the Far East to fulfill their speaking potential, and become effective, memorable and powerful presenters.
