Who is this one off session designed for?
Firstly it's important to say that the clients who have chosen this option range from those who are seasoned speakers through to clients who have recently won a high profile job or promotion and who haven't yet got the speaking skills to match up to the role. For all of these clients the stakes are high when they speak and they can't afford to get it wrong.
Each Bronze session is designed for the particular requirement of the client.
Typically you will have the presentation designed already and you need to perform it in a confident, authoritative and engaging way. If it isn't designed yet then check out the silver package.
- You may have spoken and presented extensively in the past but something big is looming and you must give it your very best shot. You need an expert to look and listen to you and your presentation and get you up to concert pitch.
- You find yourself in a new role and presenting is going to be a big part of it. You will be under scrutiny and you know it. You need to know how other people experience you, so that you can be in control of those impressions.
You know that a lot is expected of you and you are keen not to let anyone down - least of all yourself. You may or may not have been on a 'presentation skills' course in the past but you have never had anyone concentrating on you wholly and giving you the solutions that are exactly right for you.
I had never been formally trained in presentation skills and was finding that I was lacking confidence in new business pitches. I had a big presentation coming up and really needed my skills and confidence boosting. At short notice Lyndon set up and ran a taster workshop for me - it was nothing short of inspirational. In a very short space of time, Lyndon gave me a great grounding in how to present. I learned lots about the more technical aspects such as posture and breathing, but more importantly, left the session feeling energised and actually looking forward to my forthcoming pitch.
